BROOKLYN, NY - On Friday, October 19th the women's volleyball team travelled to Brooklyn to take on the Fighting Blue Jays of NYU-Poly.  The women dominated, taking the game in 3 sets (25-18, 25-19, 26-24).  With the win, the Hawks improve to 17-8, while the Blue Jays drop to 10-23.

Sophomore Paulina Jobcyzk led the Hawks with 13 kills and 4 digs while teammate sophomore Taylor Kordich was right behind her with 11 kills, 4 digs and 3 aces.  Senior setter Mia Alexis De Claro tallied 30 assists for the night.

Freshman Brianna O'Hagan recorded 9 kills while freshman Lisette Martinez had 5 aces.  Senior Kim Hirten tallied 27 digs for the Hawks.

The Hawks are back in action when the play Lehman College at senior day on Tuesday, October 24th.  The match is set for a 6:00pm start.
