GLASSBORO, NJ - On Saturday, October 6th the Hunter College women's volleyball team travelled to Glassboro, New Jeresey to compete in the Rowan Tri-Match. The Hawks dropped the game to the host school, but picked up a win against Wesely College. After the weekend, the Hawks record goes to 13-6.
The Profs of Rowan College deemed to strong for the Hawks, topping them in 4 sets (24-26, 25-19, 11-25, 16-25). Sophomore
Taylor Kordich led the Hawks with 10 kills while
Lucia Stosic had 9. Senior setter
Mia Alexis De Claro had 34 assists for the Hawks.
The Hawks defeated the Wolverines of Wesley College in their second match of the day, 3-1 (25-18, 29-27, 24-26, 16-25). Kordich had an outstanding match with a game high of 15 kills, while freshman
Brianna O'Hagan had 10 kills.
The Hawks are back in action on Thursday, October 11th when they play host to Mount Saint Mary.
