New York, NY - On Monday, October 8th the women's volleyball team travelled to Baruch College to compete against Medgar Evers and CSI.  The women were victorious in both matches, sweeping both teams. With the wins, the Hawks improve to 15-6.

The first match was against the Dolphins of CSI, where the Hawks won 3-0 (25-14, 25-17, 25-13).  Sophomore Stephanie Taibe lead the Hawks with 13 kills while teammate sophomore Taylor Kordich had 11.  Senior setter Mia Alexis De Claro tallied 30 assists.

Against the Cougars, the women swept the match 3-0 (25-7, 25-9, 25-3) to give them their second win of the day.  Kordich led the Hawks with 9 kills while senior Kim Hirten and sophomore Lucia Stosic had 5 kills a piece. De Claro finished the game with 16 assists.

The Hawks are back in action on Thursday, October 11th when they play host to Mount St. Mary College.
