NEW YORK, NY – Both the Hunter College men's and women's basketball teams have earned spots in the 47^th annual CUNYAC/Con Edison Championships as announced by the CUNY Athletic Conference late yesterday evening.

The men finished 6-6 in league play to earn the #5 seed. The Hawks will square off with the #4 seed and archrival Baruch College which finished the year 7-5 in the CUNYAC, this Saturday, February 18^th at 3:30pm in the ARC Arena.

The women's team enjoyed an impressive 9-3 record in conference action to claim the #3 seed and right to host in the quarterfinals. Hunter will host John Jay which finished 3-9 on the year this Sunday, February 19^th at 2:00pm in the Hunter Sportsplex.

The men's semifinal games, hosted by CCNY will be played on Tuesday, February 21^st at 6:00pm and 8:00pm while the women's semifinals are slated for the following evening, Wednesday, February 22^nd at 6:00pm and 8:00pm.

The CUNYAC/Con Edison Championship finals are both slated for Saturday, February 25^th. The women will play first at 3:00 pm while the men tip-off at 5:00pm.
