NEWARK, NJ- The women's volleyball team defeated the Scarlet-Raiders of Rutger-Newark on Monday, September 17th 3-0 (25-12, 25-19, 25-22).  With the win, the Hawks improve to 7-4 while the Scarlet Raiders drop to 6-6.

Senior Kim Hirtin and sophomore Taylor Kordich led the Hawks with 8 kills a piece, while sophomores Lucia Stosic and Paulina Jobczyk had 6.  Senior setter Mia De Carlo finished the day with 17 assists, while senior Karolina Krauze had 18 digs.

The Hawks are back in action on Thursday, September 20th when they host rival Baruch College to take on the bearcats.  The match is set for a 6p.m. start.
