New York, NY - The men's basketball team traveled downtown to Baruch College last night in a CUNYAC match-up. The Bearcats dominated the court, shutting the Hawks out 94-60. With the loss, the Hawks drop to 7-11, 4-5 CUNYAC while the Bearcats imrpove to 11-6, 7-2 CUNYAC.
Hunter never was able to grab a lead in either half, as the Bearcats led from start to finish and built up a 40-25 halftime advantage.
Shooting a 68 percent in the second half compared the Hawks 42 percent, the Hawks only shot a 23 percent from beind the arc, making three out of 13 chances.
The Hawks were led by junior
Lorenzo Brown who netted 11 points with four rebounds.
Ben Mayell and
Matthew Hunter each added seven points while
Robert Borusiewicz had four boards.
The Hawks are back in action this Friday, the 25th when they travel up to the Bronz to take on the Lightning of Lehman College.
