Women's Volleyball Splits at Rutgers-Camden

Camden, N.J - The women's volleyball team defeated Rutgers-Camden 3-1, and lost to Elmira College 1-3 on Saturday, October 19th. After the tri-match, the Hawks record goes to 13-9.

During the Hawks victory against Rutgers-Camden the Hawks were led by Karolina Gajda who had a double-double of 12 kills and 12 digs. Brianna O'Hagan also had a double-double of 10 kills and 12 digs while Lucia Stosic added eight kills and six digs. Taylor Kordich had seven kills and 11 assists while Kristine Ciurcina tallied 24 assists.

After taking the first set, strong Elmira came back to take the next three sets agianst the Hawks. Gajda once again led the Hawks with 12 kills and 10 kills while Gajda, Kordich and Stephanie Taibe each added eight kills.

The Hawks are back in action on October 24th when they play Mount Saint Vincent.
