New York, N.Y. - The Hunter women's volleyball team swept the Gothic Knights of NJCU 3-0 (25-10, 25-18, 25-18) to grab their eighth win of the season.  With the win, the Hawks improve to 8-9 while the Gothic Knights drop to 5-13.

The Hawks were lead by Taylor Kordich, who recorded nine kills, 14 assists, and five digs.  Lucia Stosic tallied nine kills, four digs, and two block solos. Setter standout Kristina Ciurcina had a game-high of 16 assists and nine digs for the game while Brianna O'Hagan nabbed four kills and six service aces.

The Gothic Knights were led by Marissa Scarpa who had seven kills and eight digs.

The Hawks are back in action on October 11th when they comepete against Manhattanville College.
