Women's Volleyball Ends Season at ECAC's

New York, N.Y - The women's volleyball team closed the books on their 2013 season last night, with a loss to the #4 seed Sage College in the first round of ECAC's 3-0 (23-25, 21-25, 21-25. The Gators will now go on to to play Kean College in the semifinals.
The #5 seed Hawks were led by rookie Karolina Gajda and junior Stephanie Taibe who each had nine kills. Taibe also nabbed six digs and three blocks, while Taylor Kordich added five kills, 12 assists, and eight digs.  
Freshman Kristine Ciurcina dished out 14 assists and four digs while Lucia Stosic chipped in with three kills and six digs. 
The Gators were led by Jillian Schwab and Helen Putriment who each finished with nine kills. 
The Hawks end their season with a 19-15 overall record
