Hawks Dropped by Bearcats

New York, N.Y - The men's basketball team lost a hard fought game to the Bearcats of Baruch on Tuesday, November 26th, 65-51. With the loss, the Hawks drop to 2-3, 0-1 CUNYAC while the Bearcats improve to 4-1, 1-0 CUNYAC.

The Hawks were led by senior captain Frankie Drayton who scored a game high of 20 points, to go along with four rebounds and two steals. Ishamel Nauserdeen chipped in with seven points while Jerrell Antley added six. Robert Borusiewicz snagged a game high of 12 rebounds.

The Hawks took a one point lead after a free throw by Drayton, making the score 38-37 with 14:40 left in regulation, but the Bearcats fought back to go on a 13-5 run to give themselves a nine point lead with seven minutes remaining.

The Hawks are back in action on December 2nd, when they travel to Purchase, NY to play the Valiants of Manhattanville.
