Newburgh, NY - Hunter College's Karolina Gajda had a game-high 13 kills while Alisa Jaganjac had 21 digs to lead the Hawks to a 3-1 (21-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-18) win over Mount Saint Mary on Monday, September 23, at Kaplan Gym.
 
The Hawks had 18.5 team blocks in their victory. Lucia Stosic led the attack with four solo blocks and eight assisted. Stosic also pitched in with eight kills.
 
Hunter's Kristine Ciurcina had a team-high 18 assists and Taylor Kordich added 10 assists. The Hawks had eight service aces as Kristine Ciurcina recorded three and Samantha Barrett had two aces.
 
The win raises Hunter's record to 5-6 overall. The Hawks return to the courts on Thursday, September 26 at 6:00 p.m. against John Jay in the Hunter Sportsplex.
