Men's Basketball Clipped by York, 78-92

New York, N.Y - The Hunter Hawks men's basketball team lost to the York Cardinals 92-78 on Friday night at the Hunter Sportsplex. With the loss, the men fall to 6-7. 3-3 CUNYAC.

The Hawks fought back from a 27 point deficit to cut the Cardinals lead to eight points with 7:26 left in the game. Jerrell Antley was the spark making two 3-pointers and setting up Taulant Ibraj for a corner jumper.

Antley led the Hawks with 26 points and Brian Kruger had 14. Lester Anim chipped in with 11 points and 12 rebounds and Rob Borusiewicz had 10 points and 11 rebounds. It was both players 1st double-double on the season.

The Cardinals were led by Michael Woods's game-high 36 points. Jaron Williams had 19 points and 14 rebounds. Omar St. John contributed 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Cardinals.

The Hawks return to action Monday, January 13th when they host non-league opponent Fairleigh Dickenson College at Florham. Tip-off is at 7pm.
