Men's Basketball Derailed by Brooklyn

Brooklyn, N.Y – The men's basketball team dropped a 79-65 decision to the Brooklyn Bulldogs on Wednesday night. With the loss, the Hawks fall to 7-8, 3-4 CUNYAC while the Bulldogs improve to 4-10, 2-5 CUNYAC.

Brooklyn had a great lead during the first half, going up by as many as 18 points.  Trailing by 13 at half time, the Hawks weren't able to stave off the Bulldogs as the closest Hunter was able to get in the second half was at minute 14 after a good free throw by Brian Kruger to get the score to 43-54.

Robert Borusiewicz and Chris Garcia each scored 11 points to lead the Hawks, while Terrhon Vaughn netted 10 points. Bryan Silvera snagged a game high of 11 rebounds while scoring six.

For the Bulldogs, Jamel Gist led all scorers with 14 pints while Steven Diaz netted 12.

The Hawks are back in action on January 17th when they compete against the Dolphins of CSI.
