Men's Basketball Stopped by Dolphins

New York, N.Y. – The Hunter Hawks men's basketball team lost 83-72 to the College of Staten Island Dolphins on Friday night at the Hunter Sportsplex.

Lester Anim paced the Hawks with 22 points, hitting 4-of-6 from 3-point land. Robert Borusiewicz notched his 2nd double-double on the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

The Hawks (7-9, 3-5) led the game 35-31 at the half but the Dolphins had too much firepower on the offensive end in the 2nd half. They outscored the Hawks 52-37 in the period.

The Dolphins (12-2, 7-0) had four players in double figures led by Frankie Schettino and Bloochy Magloire who each scored 23 points. Schettino added eight assists and seven rebounds. Jon Chadwick-Myers scored 18 points and Javon Cox had 12.

The Hawks return to action Wednesday January 22nd when Baruch College comes to take on the Hawks at 7pm.
