New York, N.Y – The men's basketball team defeated the Beavers of CCNY to grab their first win in 2014, 75-65. With the win, the Hawks improve to 6-5, 3-2 CUNYAC while the Beavers fall to 2-6, 1-3 CUNYAC.

The Hawks were led by senior Frankie Drayton who netted a game high of 19 points. Brian Kruger chipped in with 13 points while Chris Garcia had 14 points.  Robert Borusiewicz grabbed a team high of nine rebounds while Lester Anim snagged eight.

Hunter led for most of the game but the Beavers followed closely behind. After a good free throw by Garcia in the final 20 seconds of the games the Hawks took their biggest lead of the game of 13 points.

The Beavers were led by Anthony Lewis and Khalil Hamer who both scored 11 points.

The Hawks are back in action on January 7^th when they take on the Violets of NYU.
