New York, N.Y – The men's basketball closed the books on their 2013-14 season tonight with a loss to CSI in the CUNYAC Semi-Finals, 74-92.
The Hawks fell behind early on, being down by 21 with two minutes left in the first half. Hunter attempted to close the gap in the second half, with
Frankie Drayton scoring 19 out of his 30 points in the second. Hunter was able to cut the lead to 15 with seven minutes remaining, however CSI went on a 14-4 run over the next three minutes securing a 28 point lead.
Drayton had a game high of 30 points along with eight rebounds.
Jerrell Antley netted 12 points, while
Robert Borusiewicz chipped in with eight points and seven boards.
The Hawks were plagued by 20 turnovers and were out rebounded 44-34.
The men finish their season with a 12-14, 7-10 CUNYAC record.
