BOX SCORE NEW YORK, NY – The Hunter men's basketball team lost 78-55 to Lehman College on Friday night in a CUNYAC matchup. The loss drops the Hawks to 6-10 overall and 3-5 in CUNYAC play.
The Hawks fell behind the Lightning early in the first half and weren't able to overcome the early offensive push.
The Lightning jumped on the Hawks early starting the game on a 9-0 run and continued to grow their lead. The Hawks committed 14 first half turnovers as they trailed 38-23 at halftime.
The second half continued like much of the first half as the Lightning pushed the pace of the game and extending their halftime lead.
Brian Kruger was the leading scorer for the Hawks as he scored 10 points.
Lester Anim added nine points as
Jerrell Antley and
Blendi Ibraj each scored eight points.
The Hawks return to action Wednesday January 21 as they will host CUNYAC foe College of Staten Island. Tip-off is scheduled for 7pm.
