BOX SCORE JAMAICA, NY – The Hunter men's basketball team lost Friday night to York College 64-51 putting an end to the team's three game winning streak. The Hawks fall to 6-7 overall and 3-3 in CUNYAC play.
The Cardinals came out aggressive on the defensive end holding the Hawks to 12 first half points and holding them to 16% shooting from the field.
The Hawks played well defensively as well holding the Cardinals to 25% shooting in the first half but were unable to get anything going on the offensive end.
Brian Kruger led the Hawks with 15 points.
Matia Divac chipped in with eight points.
The Hawks return to action Monday January 12 when they take on NYU. Tip-off is scheduled for 7pm.
