New York, NY - Hunter College women's tennis fell to College of Staten Island on Tuesday afternoon with a score of 6-3.
The doubles team of
Maria Kogarova and Angelica Rozenfield got the first win of the day, defeating their Staten Island opponents 8-3 at the no. 1 court.
Kogarova followed that performance up with a victory at no. 1 singles, beating the Dolphins with scores of 6-3 and 6-0.
Mehriniso Khaydarova was the second Hawk to earn a victory in singles, winning 7-5 and 6-3 at the no 4 court.
The Purple and Gold return to action on Oct. 13 when they face St. Joseph's of Long Island.
