BOX SCORE New York, NY - Hunter College women's volleyball celebrated their four seniors on Thursday night by defeating College of Staten Island in three sets.

With the victory, the Hawks finish up regular season conference play with a perfect 8-0 record. They are still set to play three more non-conference matches before the CUNYAC tournament on Nov. 1.

The Purple and Gold easily took the first set 25-9, before winning a closer second set with a score of 25-22. They finished off the Dolphins by winning the third, 25-15.

Taylor Kerr-Haiduk led the team with 16 kills, whle Samantha Barrett followed with nine of her own. Breanna Basnke notched 35 assists and Haley Trunkett recorded a team-high 13 digs in the victory.

The Hawks return to action when they travel to Kean University on Tuesday, Oct. 25.
