BOX SCORE 2 St. David's, PA - Hunter College women's volleyball went 0-2 at the Eastern University tournament on Saturday, falling to Lycoming College and Eastern in three sets each.
The Hawks end the regular season with a 17-14 overall record and will compete as the #1 seed in the CUNYAC tournament after going 8-0.
Lycoming 3, Hunter 0
The Purple and Gold fell to the Warriors in three sets with scores of 25-19, 25-22 and 25-22.
Julia Connolly led the squad with 11 kills and also tallied a team-high 10 digs.
Breanna Banske recorded 17 assists in the loss as the team recorded a .059 hitting percentage.
Eastern 3, Hunter 0
Later in the day the Hawks took on Eastern, falling in three sets that featured scores of 25-14, 25-16 and 25-15.
Taylor Kerr-Haiduk led the Hawks offensively by notching 11 kills, while
Haley Trunkett recorded a team-high nine digs.Â
Hunter will return to action on Friday, Nov. 4 for the CUNYAC tournament.Â
