New York, NY - Hunter College women's tennis fell to John Jay College on Wednesday night with a score of 8-1.

The Hawks are 0-3 so far this season and are now 0-1 in the conference after opening CUNYAC play last night.

Tabitha Doris got the lone win for the Hawks, defeating John Jay opponent Dominique Dawkins in no. 6 singles. Doris got the decision with scores of 7-5 and 6-1.

The Purple and Gold return to action on September 25 when they face St. Joseph's College of Brooklyn at 12 p.m.
