BOX SCORE 2 New York, NY - Hunter College women's volleyball hosted a tri-match on Saturday, picking up a three-set win against Manhattanville College before falling to Ramapo College in three sets.
The Hawks are now 9-8 overall and continue to be 4-0 in conference play.

The Purple and Gold defeated the Valiants in three sets on Saturday morning, winning with close scores of 25-22, 25-23 and 25-22.Â
Julia Connolly and
Taylor Kerr-Haiduk led the squad earning 18 and 13 kills, respectively. Connolly committed just two errors the entire match to record a fantastic .471 hitting percentage, while Kerr-Haiduk also led the team on defense with 18 digs.
Samantha Barrett notched a team-high six blocks in the win.Â
Miranda Hogan and
Cristy Pariama followed with 12 digs each as
Breanna Banske tallied a team-high 36 assists. The team hit .257 in the victory, while holding the Valiants to a .067 hitting percentage.
Ramapo 3, Hunter 0Â
The Hawks dropped a match to Ramapo later in the day, falling in three with scores of 25-23, 25-20 and 25-13.
Connolly and Kerr-Haiduk once again led offensively with 12 and 11 digs, while Barrett chipped in eight of her own. Kerr-Haiduk recorded a team-high 14 digs, while Pariama followed with 13.
The Purple and Gold return to action on Tuesday, September 27 when they host Lehman College at 6 p.m.
