BOX SCORE New York, NY - Hunter College men's basketball fell to Baruch College on Saturday at the ARC Arena with a score of 72-54.
With the loss, Hunter drops to 4-4 in conference and 6-10 overall this season.
Field goals made the difference in the first half as Baruch converted on 15 in comparison to the Hawks 6-25 shooting performance in the first 20 minutes. Baruch also forced 13 Hunter turnovers, allowing them to lead 39-17 at halftime.
The Purple and Gold bounced back in the second half, outscoring the Bearcats 37-33 and forcing 12 turnovers, but Baruch's 33-point lead was too great to come back from as the Hawks fell 72-54.
Matt Franks led the team with 14 points and was followed by
Danny Fusco's ten. The team finished with a 36.8 field goal percentage.
The Hawks return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 18 when they host Brooklyn College at 7 p.m.
