West Point, NY - Hunter College women's fencing fell to Army and CCNY on Saturday at the Army Invitational, hosted in West Point.
The Hawks fell to Army with a score of 21-6, but taking the saber 6-3.
Lianne Doctor posted three wins in the weapon, while
Michelle Rangel added two for the Hawks.
In the 19-7 loss to CCNYÂ
Tasnim Halim notched Hunter's only win in the foil as they fell 8-1. The team defeated the Beavers in the saber 7-2 with wins from Doctor, Rangel and
Alexandra Van Zant.
The Hawks return to action on Feb. 5 when they travel to the Eric Sollee Invitational, hosted by MIT.
