Flushing, NY - Hunter College women's tennis was shut out by St. Joseph's College of Long Island on Friday at the USTA National Tennis Center.
The Hawks dropped to 1-9 overall this season with the loss.
Hunter fell behind in doubles competition with losses at the No. 1 and No. 2 court. The duo of
Catherine Ng and
Elaine Zhang fell at No. 1 doubles with a score of 8-3.
The Purple and Gold then dropped all five matches in singles competition with
Anna Baylosis competing in the closest match but eventually falling 10-5 at No. 4 singles.
The squad returns to action tomorrow when they host John Jay College at 3:30 p.m.
