BOX SCORE New York, N.Y. - Hunter College women's volleyball defeated Medgar Evers College on Thursday night in three sets to remain undefeated in conference play this season.
The Hawks got their win with scores of 25-9, 25-7 and 25-13 and improved their record to 22-3.
The Purple and Gold had one of their best hitting percentages of the season, posting a mark of .449, while holding the Cougars to -.103. Eleven of the 14 players earned at least three kills in the match, with
Emily Wasson leading the team with eight.
Daphne Odeh and
Denise Biesiadecka followed with six each in the victory.
Cristy Pariama tallied 26 assists, while
Taylor Haiduk recorded a team-high seven digs.
The squad returns to action this weekend when they host FDU-Florham and Montclair State in a tri-match on Saturday.
