BOX SCORE Gettysburg, PA. - Hunter College men's basketball opened up the 2017-18 campaign on Friday night, falling to Moravian College with a score of 88-50 at the Gettysburg Tip Off Tournament.
The Hawks fell behind at the start of the game and were unable to catch the Hounds, who did not give up their lead for the remaining 40 minutes. Hunter recorded 16 field goals to Moravian's 32 as turnovers also plagued the Purple and Gold, committing 32.
Amer Lukac had an impressive senior season debut, scoring 17 points and grabbing five rebounds. Danny Fusco added eight points and George Keener led the Hawks with seven rebounds in the loss.
The team returns to action tomorrow for a game against host school Gettysburg College at 2 p.m.
