BOX SCORE Schenectady, N.Y. - Hunter College men's basketball dropped its third game of the season on Saturday afternoon, falling to Union College with a score of 88-51.
The Hawks drop to 0-3 so far this season, while the Dutchmen are now 2-0.
The Purple and Gold began to fall behind ten minutes into the first half as Union went on a 14-0 run to lead by as much as 28 points. The Hawks trailed 49-23 at the half. The Dutchmen continued to score in the second half, stretching their lead to 38 points and finally getting the victory, 88-51.
Amer Lukac led the team with 10 points, while
Danny Fusco,
Matt Franks and
George Keener each tallied eight points. The Hawks shot 33.3 percent as the Dutchmen recorded a 47.9 percentage from the field in the game.
The team returns to action tomorrow when they take on FDU Florham at 2 p.m.Â
