Hawks Drop Game 89-76

New York, N.Y. - Hunter College men's basketball dropped a conference game to the College of Staten Island on Saturday afternoon with a score of 89-76 at the Hunter Sportsplex.

The loss give Hunter an 8-7 overall record and drops them to 5-2 in the CUNYAC. The Dolphins improved to 7-7 and 6-1 in the league.

The Hawks fell behind at the beginning of the game and never gained the lead, going into halftime down 51-32. The Purple and Gold started the second half strong by getting points from Matt Franks, Gio Gabbidon, Amer Lukac and George Keener to cut CSI's lead to 15, but the Dolphins were not deterred, going back up by as much as 25 points to win the game.
