Flushing, N.Y. - Hunter College women's tennis fell in the in the CUNYAC championship finals on Friday to #1 seeded Brooklyn College with a score of 5-1.

The Hawks fell behind in doubles plays, dropping all three matches, despite a competitive match from #1 duo Maria Kogarova and Luisa Sujan.

In singles competition Hunter's Liliko Chung was the sole winner for the Hawks, taking down her opponent 6-0 and 7-5. The Purple and Gold fell at the #1 and #2 courts to get the loss. 

This was Hunter's first appearance in the CUNYAC finals since the 2015 season.
