New York, NY – The City University of New York Athletic Conference has released the seeds for the Men's Basketball Conference Championship Tournament earlier today to reveal Hunter as the #4 seed.
 
The top-six teams in the conference make the tournament with the top-two teams receiving a buy into the semi-finals. Lehman College topped the list with Baruch as the #2 and Staten Island claiming the #3 seed. The Hawk's 8-8 CUNYAC record matched John Jay but won the tiebreaker to force the Bloodhounds into the #5 seed. Brooklyn College was the final team to make the tournament with a 7-9 conference mark.
 
The Purple and Gold will play host to John Jay in the first round on Saturday, February 17^th at 1pm at the Sportsplex. The winner will advance to play a waiting top-seeded Lehman College in the semifinals on Tuesday, February 9^th at 6pm.
 
In the other first round game, Staten Island will host Brooklyn College with the winner to face Baruch on the 20^th. The championship game will be on Friday, February 23 at 8:30pm. CCNY will be the site of both the semifinals and finals.
