Flushing, N.Y. - Hunter College men's tennis dropped a match to SUNY Oneonta on Wednesday afternoon with a score of 8-1.
The Hawks dropped to 3-7 this season with the loss, while the Red Dragons have improved to 8-6.
Hunter was swept in doubles competition to go into singles play trailing by three points.
Nasser Ghaffar was the only Hawks to win a singles bout, taking down his opponent at the #1 spot. Ghaffar got wins with scores of 7-5 and 6-2 to put the Purple and Gold on the board in the loss.
Hunter returns to action on April 23 when they host Purchase College at 3 p.m.
