Purchase, N.Y.- In an astounding day in the pool, the Hunter College women's swimming team headed to Purchase College where it defeated the Panthers, 130-32 on Wednesday evening.
With the win, the Hawks advance to a perfect 4-0 record as the Purple and Gold took first in all 13 events for the day.

Nancy Leal, and
Che'Rel Haywood started off the meet by taking first in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 2:08.96. The freestyle events came next as
Heyu Feng won the 1000 yard (15:23.83), Haywood took the 50 yard (28.01), while Reis was successful in the 100 yard (1:04.82) and Leal and Mauffucci took the first two spots in the 200 yard, with times of 2:12.20 and 2:15.70, respectively.
Sarah Decker was victorious in the 200 yard individual medley, finishing in 2:37.68. She grabbed another gold in the 100 yard backstroke, touching the wall in 1:11.90.
A long distance freestyle win by Leal continued the trend, as she finishing the 500 yard in 6:00.38. Dupljak took home an individual gold for the night in the 100 yard breaststroke, clocking in at 1:23.73.
The Hawks closed out their incredible night with a win in the 200 yard medley relay as Feng,
Andrea Rodriguez, Reis, and Maffucci contributed to a 2:02.42 time.
Hunter looks to continue to streak in the new year as they host United States Merchant Marine Acadamy on Jan. 4 at 6 p.m. in the Northpool.
