Jamaica, N.Y.- The Hunter College women's volleyball team defeated York College in straight sets on the road Tuesday evening to remain undefeated (6-0) in CUNYAC play. The Hawks move to 18-7 overall, while the Cardinals fall to 2-10 overall and 1-4 in conference competition. 

The Hawks displayed their dominance right from the start, claiming the first set with a commanding score of 25-6. The second set continued in a similar fashion, ending 25-9 in favor of the Purple and Gold. The third and final set saw Hunter closing the match with a resounding 25-6 win.

Izabella Williams played a pivotal role, accumulating 14 points and showcasing an impressive attack percentage of .412.  Natalie Polanco and Williams led the Hawks in serving with 6 aces each, contributing to a total of 21 aces for the team. Tionna Moss led the team with nine kills, while Williams added eight of her own and Simone McIntyre tacked on seven.  respectively. Erin Dugan and Pearl Mensah provided valuable support in various aspects of the game, and the team's solid defense was evident with a total of 43 digs.

The Hawks return to the court on Oct. 26 as they host Pratt in the Hunter Sportplex at 6:00 p.m.
