Bronx, NY- Hunter men's volleyball team improves to 12-0 in CUNYAC play and extends their winning streak to 13 with a 25-16, 25-23, and 25-16 win over Lehman College
The Hawks offense was led by
Ted Kim who had a career high 17 kills while hitting .333.
Cooper Moran paced the offense with 35 assits in the three set victory, he was also credited with 9 digs, 2 blocks and an ace on the evening. Senior Niro Osbourne was a perfect 7 for 7 leading the hawks with a 1.000 hitting percentage.
Hunter Moran led the back line defense with 8 digs, while current rookie of the week
Sergio Aguado picked up another 5 kills.
As a team the hawks had 42 kills, to go along with 41 digs, and 9 blocks. The defense held Lehman to only 22 kills, and held them to a .034 hitting percentage.
Hunter will return to the court on Saturday April 1st with a trip down Lexington Ave as they take on Baruch with a 12pm first serve.
