Flushing, N.Y.-  The Hunter College women's tennis team swept the weekly awards for the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC), as announced by the league office on Tuesday. Ava Cooper grabbed the Player of the Week title, while Hannah Butterworth earned her Rookie of the Week nod.

Ava Cooper led the Hawks to a 6-2 win over Lehman this week, as she teamed up with Hannah Butterworth to take no. 3 singles, 8-3. Following the win, Cooper blanked her opponent with a 6-0, 6-0 win in singles.

In her collegiate debut, Hannah Butterworth earned wins in both her matches in a the team's win over Lehman last week. She teamed up with Ava Cooper for a 8-3 win in no. 3 doubles, followed by a straight set (6-2, 6-3) victory in her singles match.

The Hawks return to the court with a packed schedule this week, taking on three CUNYAC opponents, starting with Baruch at 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 1
