Hoboken, N.J.- In a challenging away matchup at the Canavan Arena in Hoboken, NJ, the Hunter College men's volleyball team faced a formidable opponent in the Stevens Institute of Technology Ducks. With a record of 1-4 coming into the game, the Hawks were determined to make a statement against the powerhouse Ducks, who boasted an impressive 10-1 record.
Right from the start, it was evident that the Ducks would present a tough challenge for the visiting Hawks. Despite Hunter's best efforts, Stevens surged ahead in the first set, securing a commanding 25-15 victory. The Hawks struggled to contain Stevens' offensive firepower, with the Ducks displaying efficiency and precision in their attacks.
The second set followed a similar pattern, with Stevens maintaining their dominance and clinching another convincing 25-12 win. Hunter fought valiantly, but Stevens' relentless pressure proved too much to handle as they capitalized on their opportunities and controlled the tempo of the game.
