Game 2
The second game packed much more action for the Hawks despite the 7-10 loss. Hunter, however, quickly responded in the top of the second inning, with Marsala's double bringing in their first run followed by a series of hits to take a 3-1 lead.
Stevens fought back in the bottom of the second, as they added more runs in the inning to take a 6-3 lead. Despite Hunter's efforts to claw back into the game, Stevens maintained their lead throughout the matchup. Olivia Palumbo and Adriana Ramirez each contributed with RBI singles in the fourth and fifth innings, narrowing the gap to 9-7. Bowe and Palumbo stood out offensively for the Hawks, each contributing two hits and combining for three RBIs. Alyssa Curiale was tagged with the loss as she falls to 0-1 for the season.
The Hawks return to the field on March 19 as they travel to Montclair State for a double-header starting at 3:00 p.m.
