New York, N.Y.- The Hunter College men's volleyball team lit up the court on their annual Senior Night, claiming a dominant victory over John Jay. The final scoreline reads 25-16, 25-15, 25-14, favoring the Hawks as the team advanced to 14-10 overall and 11-2 in CUNYAC play while the Bloodhounds dropped to 15-7 total and 9-4 in conference competition.
The evening was a celebration of Hunter's senior talents in Ted Kim, Cooper Moran, and Onyeka Onaga.
Ted Kim, a stalwart of the team, exhibited his  offensive skill with 6 kills, despite facing tough defensive opposition in addition to two service aces and a dig.Â
Cooper Moran, the team's setter, orchestrated the offense with an impressive 25 assists in addition to four kills and five digs. His ability to distribute the ball effectively allowed his teammates to capitalize on scoring opportunities, keeping the pressure on John Jay from start to finish.
Onyeka Onaga delivered a stellar performance, contributing 4 kills and 3 blocks, as he disrupted John Jay's offensive rhythm at the net.
However, it wasn't just the seniors who shined on this special night. Kyle Foley and Annes Deljanin made significant contributions, notching 11 and 8 kills respectively, while Jon Pflueger added 6 kills and 4 blocks to the tally.
Hunter's dominance was evident in their overall statistics, boasting a formidable .378 hitting percentage compared to John Jay's .110.Â
The Hawks return to the court for their final conference match of the season at Brooklyn College on April 2nd at 6:00 p.m.
