New York, N.Y.-  In a thrilling conference semi-finals clash at the Hunter Sportsplex, the Hunter College men's volleyball team soared to a triumphant victory against John Jay, securing their spot in the conference championship game, a rematch of last year, against Baruch College. The game will be played at 6:30 p.m. in the ARC Arena.

Right from the opening whistle, the Hawks demonstrated their determination to dominate the court. Despite a spirited effort from John Jay, the Hawks showcased their offensive prowess, clinching the first set with a score of 25-18. Led by stellar performances from Jimmy Chang, Rookie of the Year, Kyle Foley, the Hawks maintained their momentum in the subsequent sets, overpowering their opponents with precision and skill.

Throughout the intense matchup, the Hunter's cohesion and strategic play were on full display, leaving John Jay struggling to counter their relentless attacks. Cooper Moran paced the offense, tallying 35 assists in th win.

While John Jay fought valiantly, the Hawks' dominance proved too much to overcome. Chang and Foley led the charge with impressive offensive displays, recording 12 kills each, while Jon Pflueger. added 10.

With a final scoreline of 25-18, 25-22, 25-19, Hunter emerged victorious, advancing to the conference championship game in style.  The game will be played at 6:30 p.m. in the ARC Arena against Baruch College. Tickets must be purchased in advance. For for information head to www.cunyathletics.com.
