NEW YORK, N.Y.- Get ready to redefine what's possible in a single day. On April 29, Hunter College is launching its inaugural Giving Day, a 24-hour digital fundraiser fueled by the generosity of the people who know us best.  

It's a day to celebrate our history, invest in our future, and show the world the true power of Hunter Athletics Pride!

For 24 hours, our global network — from 68th Street to the far reaches of our alumni community — will unite to make a powerful philanthropic statement, proving that when the Hunter community gives back, the momentum becomes unstoppable.  

With an ambitious goal of raising $500,000 from 500 donors in just 24 hours, Giving Day reflects our belief that remarkable things can happen when the Hunter unites around a shared vision.   

The theme of Giving Day is "Bridge the Future." It invites donors to help close gaps, expand opportunities, and ensure that lack of money never stands in the way of our students' success.  

Giving Day will celebrate what makes Hunter College athletics extraordinary — and remind us that philanthropy helps ensure that Hunter can continue to open doors and shape the future of New York City and beyond. Donors will be able to support more than 75 areas at Hunter via the Giving Day page, from their favorite Athletics team to the Philosophy department, and much more
