2008 Match - by - Match Statistics
Senior (2011): Compiled an overall record of 6-3, while going 2-1 in CUNYAC competition...competed in the two and three slots for singles...collected four wins in doubles play...earned the Golden Hawk award at the Student Athlete Awards Banquet...was an honorable mention CUNYAC Scholar Athlete.
Junior (2010): Played in nine matches and posted a 7-3 record...competed in the one, two and three slots for singles...collected six wins and just three losses at doubles...named a CUNYAC All-Star Honorable Mention.
Sophomore (2009): Collected a 7-3 singles record, mainly playing in the three slot...splitting time at one and two doubles, posted an 8-3 record and collecting seven wins with teammate Max Segan.
Freshman (2008): Competed in 12 matches to finish the season 8-4 in sginles play and 3-6 in doubles … started the season at third singles before moving down a slot to fourth singles where he was 3-1, winning his final three matches including the team’s only victory in the conference championship match against Baruch (4/26/08).
Notes: Roy’s older brother Ben Forberg plays tennis at Brooklyn College and was the 2007 CUNYAC Rookie of the Year.
High School: Graduated AOSR in Rome, Italy in 2006…played tennis…placed 3rd in the European Championships.
Personal: Son of Boris and Demet…has a brother, Ben…majoring in film…favorite food is Doner Kebab.
