2020: Played in 16 matches while making 14 starts...tallied 155 kills, 15 service aces, 97 digs and 21 total blocks...registered at least 10 kills on nine occasions...set a season high of 21 kills in a 3-2 win over Misericordia on January 25.

2019: Started in 30 matches while seeing action in 31 of them...in 105 sets played, led the team in points with 348, points/set with 3.31, kills with 297 and kills/set with 2.83...added 12 assists, 29 service aces, 206 digs and 37 total blocks...ranked fourth in total kills and sixth in kills/set among the CUNYAC...registered at least 10 kills on 12 different occasions and set a new career high of 22 kills, twice...named the CUNYAC Player of the Week (3/5) and was a CUNYAC Second Team All-Star.

2018: Played in 30 matches while starting in 28 of them and seeing action in 88 sets...totaled 201 kills for 2.65 kills per set and posted a hitting percentage of .189...added nine service aces, 118 digs, 40 block assists and 43 total blocks...had seven matches with at least 10 kills while posting a career high 20 kills in a 3-1 win over St. Joseph's (LI) (3/15).

Personal: At Bay Shore, under coach Andres Borremeo, was an All-Division Honorable Mention, All-County and earned an All-County Tournament Team nod...in the classroom, was an Academic All-County and was on the High Honor Roll each of his four years...son of Kimete and Remzi Shala...has two siblings, Qendresa and Arjanit...majoring in economics.
