Biography

2019-20: Played in the lone game of the season against Yeshiva...was blanked by his opponent at #5 singles but teamed with Christopher Popovic at #3 doubles to take an 8-5 victory.

2018-19: Competed in 13 matches...posted an 0-1 record in singles action but played 13 doubles matches mainly at #3...registered a 7-6 doubles record with one of those wins coming at #2 with teammate Jose Agregado in an 8-2 victory over their opponents from York.

2017-18: Played in two matches for the Hawks, both at #6 singles...posted a 1-1 record with his lone win coming against Akash Jairam of Brooklyn College on April 14.

Personal: Played tennis at Middletown High School...twice named Academic All-State...son of Michelle and Robert Burrus...has five siblings, Taylor, Nicolas, Sophia, Jackson and Jacob...majoring in mathematics.
