2017: Competed in all six races for the Hawks...posted three top-55 finishes...ran a personal best of 29:13 over 8k at the Rowan Meet...finished in 18th place at the CUNYAC Championships...named a CUNYAC All-Star and was voted to the CUNYAC Sportsmanship Team.

Personal: Recorded the best GPA for a senior on the men's cross country year during his final year...a transfer from La Guardia Community College, he was on the Honor Roll for two years...son of Fanny and Javier Castro...majoring in biology.
