2019-20: Competed in eight meets for the Hawks in his first year, specializing in the 800m and mile...turned in a pair of top-10 finishes in the 1k and mile at the Princeton Invitational...at the CUNYAC Championship, placed sixth in the 800m in a personal best of 2:06.98 and then claimed fourth in the mile with a time of 4:47.85...at the ECAC Championship, set a PR in the mile with a time of 4:42.16 and helped the 4x800m relay team to a third place finish with a time of 8:25.85.
Personal: Competed in cross country and wrestling in high school and was named the 2017 and 2018 wrestling MVP...son of Miroslava Estrada and Gustavo Marquez...has two siblings, Josue and David...major is nursing.
