Courtney Thomas


Courtney Thomas competed at Lehman Fall 2010-Spring 2012 in XC indoor and outdoor. Some of events Thomas participated in and coached at Lehman were the 400m, 800m, 4x100, 4x400 relay 400m Hurdles, Javelin, and Long Jump.

Thomas was given an opportunity only as a Senior to be an intern assistant developmental Coach at Lehman College appointed by Head Coach Lesleigh Hogg at the time. A graduate of Lehman College 2013, obtaining a degree in Recreation Education specializing in sports and coaching. Subsequently, aggrandized his knowledge in the science of running, weight training and coaching. 

Thomas was hired at Hunter College as an assistant coach for the 2014 indoor-outdoor seasons. An insatiable runner and trainer, Thomas brings over 15 years of experience to Hunter College. Thomas is a current  Certified Level 1 track and field coach and member of USA Track and Field association. He will work primarily with Jumpers, Hurdlers and splitting both men’s and women’s sprinters with Assistant Coach Sidney Milden.

Thomas works part time as a personal trainer and running coach. Thomas was born, raised and resides in Bronx, New York.
