Evan Reifsnyder was named the head men's soccer coach in the summer of 2025, following a one year stint as an assistant coach in 2024, where the team won won it's first CUNYAC Championship and earned a berth to the NCAA DIII Tournament for the first time since 2010.
A former NYU varsity player, Reifsnyder brings a diverse and accomplished background to the sidelines, combining high-level coaching, video analysis, scouting, and data science. His experience spans elite youth, high school, collegiate, and professional environments, making him a dynamic and forward-thinking leader for the Hawks.
Reifsynder spent four years (2020–2024) as the program director and head coach at Calabasas High School, where he led the boys’ program to its first-ever league championship and was named Marmonte League Coach of the Year twice. Concurrently, he coached with the LA Galaxy’s elite youth programs, where he was instrumental in player development, pre-academy training, and academy/second-team scouting from 2022 to 2024.
In 2023, Reifsnyder worked as a video analyst for the USL Championship club San Diego Loyal prior to the club’s dissolution. He began his coaching career as the head coach of the junior varsity team at Grace Church High School in 2019 and as a head coach at Brooklyn City FC from 2017-2019, where he also competed for their men's team in 2019.
A native of the Northeast, Reifsnyder played varsity soccer at Kimball Union Academy in New Hampshire before going on to compete at New York University, where he studied at the Tandon School of Engineering and earned a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Urban Environments. He was also a Founder’s Day Award recipient at NYU.
In addition to his coaching career, Reifsnyder currently works as a Data Scientist for Dream Sports (2025–present), where he combines his analytical acumen with a passion for performance and strategy.
