Biography

Honors and Awards: CUNYAC Second-Team All-Star (2017)...CUNYAC Second-Team All-Star (2018).

2018: Started and played in all 16 games for the Purple and Gold on defense and logged 1316 minutes on the field...along with holding opponents to a scoring average of just 1.88, added three goals and two assists for eight points on the offensive end...went 3-3 on penalty kicks...named a Second Team CUNYAC All-Star.

2017: Started at played in all 17 games at defense...logged the most minutes of any player on the team with 1,371...chalked up four points on two goals...registered the game winner in a 3-1 victory over CCNY on September 30.

2016: Appeared in 13 games while making the start in one of them...registered one goal which was his first collegiate score in a 6-2 win over York on October 8.

2015: Played in 12 games, starting four them...recorded six shots during the year...had two shots against Bryn Athyn (9/5).

Personal: Son of Elizabeth Perez and Ricardo Merlo...has one sibling, Matthew...majoring in media studies.
